About

We are two people with a passion for hiking and travelling. Since September 2018, Cape Town is our hometown. We are a geoscientist and an aerospace-ist, both vaguely 30 years old.

Vicky Stevens

I am currently a postdoc in the Geological Sciences Department at the University of Cape Town. I am researching earthquakes, faulting and seismic hazard in various locations across the globe. My passion for geology combines well with hiking, where you often stumble on interesting geological phenomena.

I am an aerospace enthusiast with a drive towards sustainability. I have recently successfully defended my PhD dissertation related to the aerodynamics of propellers. I enjoy the outdoors and like to show you pictures and stories of the beautiful places we have visited. I also have a passion for outdoor gear which I will share with you.
